The aims of this research are; 1) To find out what the dual role of housewives is in Kampung Rangkas Panjang, Gandayasa village, Cikeusal sub-district 2). To find out how Islamic religious education methods are taught to children in Rangkas Panjang village, Gandayasa village, Cikeusal sub-district 3). To find out what factors are obstacles for working housewives in their children's Islamic religious education in Kampung Rangkas Panjang, Gandayasa village, Cikeusal sub-district.
The research method used was field research with a qualitative approach and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive analysis method.
Conclusions that can be drawn from this discussion include dual roles, namely two or more roles carried out by housewives, methods of educating children by educating children at home and at school by instilling religious values, and the factor that is an obstacle is the limitations of housewives. in educating children because mothers work. Based on the results of interviews and observations conducted by researchers with 30 people, 21 families were found to still have a sense of responsibility in carrying out their duties as mothers, and there were 9 families who did not meet their children's educational needs.
