Abstract

The holy month of Ramadhan becomes an important moment for entrepreneurs to increase their income, especially through the sale of takjil. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of takjil sales in boosting the local economy during the month of Ramadhan in Katulisan village and to identify the factors that support its success. This research employs a qualitative approach. This qualitative approach is a research process that is conducted by describing what is present in the field using the primary instrument of the researcher themselves. The results show that takjil sales provide a significant contribution to increasing community income during the month of Ramadhan compared to regular months and also encourage local economic growth. Factors that support the success of takjil businesses include strategic locations, product variations, and community involvement in supporting micro-enterprises. However, there are challenges such as fierce competition and rising raw material prices. In conclusion, the month of Ramadan has a positive economic impact on takjil business actors, but an adaptation strategy is needed so that they can continue to compete and get optimal profits. The month of Ramadan is an opportunity for the people of Katulis Village to improve the local economy through the sale of takjil. This study aims to find out how the sale of takjil in the month of Ramadan can improve the local economy in Katulisan Village. The results of the study show that takjil sales in the month of Ramadan have increased significantly and reaped great profits for traders.
