Abstract

This study aims to determine the planning of learning through the use of image media, the implementation of learning, and the role of teachers in improving critical thinking skills using

image media in social studies learning for class V Mi Nurul Falah Pasanggrahan. This research method uses a qualitative research method aimed at describing or depicting existing phenomena, both natural and human-engineered, which pay more attention to the characteristics, quality, skills of children's activities. This study is intended to describe and reveal facts about everything related to the use of image media to improve students' critical thinking on natural phenomena material in social studies subjects at MI Nurul Falah Pasanggrahan Petir Based on the results of the study conducted by the author, both direct interviews with MI Nurul Falah Pasanggrahan that, The use of image media is effectively adjusted to the child's level, both in terms of size, detailed images, colors and backgrounds for interpretation.
