Pengaruh Pemberian Reward terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran PAI di SMA Negeri 1 Cikeusal
Abstract
Students’ learning interest is one of the important factors in supporting the success of the learning process, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. Low learning interest can affect students’ attention, participation, and enthusiasm during the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of reward giving on students’ learning interest in PAI subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Cikeusal in the 2023/2024 academic year. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research type. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation methods. The sample consisted of 28 twelfth-grade students selected using the cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that the value was 0.53, which was higher than the r table value of 0.374 at a significance level of 5%. These findings indicate that there is an effect of reward giving on students’ learning interest. The contribution of reward to students’ learning interest was 28.09%.
