Abstract

This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous influence of public perception and religiosity on interest in saving in Islamic banks. This study uses a quantitative method. The application program used to process data is SPSS version 25. In this study, the sample was determined as many as 98 people using the slovin formula and sampling using the probability sampling method with the cluster sampling technique which is random sampling based on area or region. The data used is primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to the people of Sukaraja village in accordance with the characteristics of the respondents determined by the researcher. Variable measurements were made using a Likert scale with a scale of 1 to 5. The hypothesis testing in this study uses multiple linear regression.

The results of the study showed that the perception had a significant effect on the interest in saving of the people of Sukaraja village was obtained by the results of ttable > (7.048 > 1.984) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 (5%), religiosity had a significant effect on the saving interest of the people of Sukaraja village was obtained from the ttable > (4.060 > 1.984) with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05 (5%), perception and religiosity simultaneously have a significant effect on the interest in saving the people of Sukaraja village as obtained  by the results of the calculation > ftable which is 65,783 > 3.09. Thus, Islamic banking is very easy to increase socialization to the community about Islamic finance so that it can be accepted and understood by all Sukaraja village people
